located on the large feldberg, this restaurant can be full on sunny summer days. eating is very good and inexpensive. simple local kitchen according to hessischer art, ideal for a rast during a walk. try the flame cakes according to hessian art, a crazy mix of two very different feeds - but very good. the menu is written in hessischer mundart. The visit of the feldberg is definitely recommended. especially on clear days you can see the landscape in all directions to the horizon. the restaurant feldberghof is a good place for a grid when they are highly migrated with the bike or to the foot. the service is fast, eating is typical German / hessian and there is a terrace (but not a real plan). everything in everything - nothing extraordinary. enjoy their journey there!

We were eating at the feldberghof for the third time today and were disappointed again. the operation was rather unmotivated and the carbonic acid in the drinks was virtually not present. We had to wait long, not what the quality of the food also gave. it reminds of eating canteens rather than a restaurant. the carving was fried only on one side crispy and tough, the hackbread was taste-neutral, the bratkartoffeln did not crispy and the pommes too short in the frituse and unworn. a drink on the terrace that offers a great view can be enjoyed.
The Feldberghof offers a unique location atop the largest mountain of the Taunus range and an according great view (from its terrace) all the way down...
This is a fun place to visit with very friendly and helpful staff. The menu is written in Hessisch , which was interesting to translate for a non-native...
