For dessert, my husband had the coffee parfait but had to return it because it had a bitter taste and an awful texture. The biscuits served with it were inedible and as hard as rocks. My gingerbread panna cotta was disappointing as it was not soft enough, lacked flavor, and the "sea salt tuille" was just melted sugar that was hard as glass. My husband was offered a different dessert and chose the sticky toffee, which he enjoyed. However, it took a long time to come out and was forgotten about until we asked twice. To their credit, they did not charge us for the dessert.
We had a delicious Sunday roast beef dinner with all the trimmings thank you !!
The food, ambiance, and service at this restaurant were all excellent. The venison was delicious, and the ginger panna cotta was wonderful.
Nice location great staff food excellent would definitely recommend if you want to stay in Whitby
