Was Angela Wilderman at Sushi Date a mag?
The food was great - very fresh and came out quickly. We had California roll, Tokyo roll, spicy tuna and salmon maki rolls. Also shared a veggie tempura, and it was definitely enough food for two people to share, and reasonably priced at $30. The service however was horrible. They forgot we were there and were a little rude or aloof once we did get service. They never came back to check, so it was a good thing everyt... View all feedback.
What กันตภณ อัศวรัช dislikes about Sushi Date:
The fish quality was excellent considering we are in the prairies... and the speed and attention of the service team was excellent. It seems all prices in Saskatoon are a bit more dear than I am used to so I cannot comment on the lunch ayce price. Where I did notice an area of improvement was in the roll construction. I'll give this place a solid 3.5 starsIt used to be called something else, and was recently revamped.
Our experience at Sushi Date was bu haoWe sat for 20-30 minutes waiting for our sushi rolls to arrive.

It seems all prices in Saskatoon are a bit more dear than I am used to so I cannot comment on the lunch ayce price. Where I did notice an area of improvement was in the roll construction. At least half if not more of the filling for the rolls ordered was tempura bits. If I had know. I would have asked for no bits in my rolls. (Too much tempura bits can affect my stomach). Perhaps others like these crunchy morsels but just not for me. A quick lunch stop with my partner and a lovely cup of tea. As we are not from the area probably will not be back.

They forgot we were there and were a little rude or aloof once we did get service. They never came back to check, so it was a good thing everything turned out ok. I asked for more water, which never came, and we had to go to the front to get our bill because no one came to clear our plates or ask if we needed anything else. As a result, we did not tip. That said, the food itself was worth four stars, I will definitely go back for takeout.
