Gross restaurant that smells musty and staff is horrible. The burger tasted old and onion rings were way too dry. Root beer "float" had one drop of ice cream in it. Maybe I was romanticising it as a kid but A&W used to be great!
Even though they were short staffed, the food got to us in a hurry and hot. The line up was long, but the young lady did a great job.
I got some good food when I needed it and it was good as usual. It was a busy place at lunch and 2 people were more or less constantly cleaning it so that it would be enjoyable for those who came.
This a and w is 2 minutes away and I met it 2 or 3 times every 6 months and each time is different. sometimes the frits or tweeper rings are cold, burger warm.
Armed on 02. april 0915hs with another friend. When I arrived at the theke, I asked the staff if someone could wipe a few tables, how all was dirty. she told the supervisor. No one came from behind at the counter to clean something! our coffee was served in paper cups, as I was told they ran out of glass. no sweat. teller and tassen were stacked high around the restaurant. the employees were friendly, but definatiw overwhelmed by the constant placement of the customers due to the coupons. I sent an email to the company office. I finally got a answer from the manager of the load. she told me that they have more people in shiftwork and will train workers in cleanliness. the only problem with this is his not the staff! they were visible and yet not to correct or guide the personal there.
