What User dislikes about Fratimo Pizzeria:
Cute place in the middle of a square of sapri, we had been there a few years ago but we were really disappointed this time. The appetizers were just frozen things, some pizzas for nothing good. The one with mushrooms and sausage was bad, watery mushrooms, sausage too fat and the taste of fennel without being written in the menu. The orthonian pizza had almost carbonated eggplants. If you want to enjoy a traditional pizza, in Sapri, you can do it in this place! Magical atmosphere! Impeccable service! Hospitality! I highly recommend!
We were recommended to this place but the local optician. The owner was an absolute gent and lovely. He explained that only fish was available and suggested in Italian what he was going to bring us. We weren’t that starving but three courses came out in under an hour which was too rapid for our liking. We also saw others ordering from the menu and were a bit suspicious. We expected a massive rip-off bill, but it was only 50€ with a bottle of wine. I would most definitely recommend a visit though.
We were very well approved in Fratimo. Certainly Sapri has a spectacular pizzeria. Hi quality in ingredients, fair price and much sympathy, typical of southern Italy.
Together with family I had a lovely lunch at this restaurant. Really great service, even though waiter didn 't speak english fluently. Yet, we saw efforts to explain each dish, so we felt really grateful. Talking about food, I really enjoyed it, as first meal: pasta al dente and second meal: swordfish were cooked well. Bottle of white wine I Vigneti Di Bruma (semi sweet, refreshing) complimented both courses. Lastly, at the beginning served bread was really delicious, so we asked if it is possible to buy one and they said yes. Thank you for that! Definitely recommend this place.
Freshly cooked pizza, with so many types to choose from, with portions that we struggled to finish, there was so much to eat. All night they had live musicians playing in this beautifully decorated restaurant with interesting art to which made the dinning experience even more divine. The manager of the restaurant welcomed my partner and me to his restaurant and took care of us like we were family, he told everyone we were brothers as we had the same moustache and it was a tradition in his family to have such a moustache. Because of this the manager insisted that our food and drink all night was free. I have never ever felt so welcomed, humble, honoured and shy at the same time. But this night has made it a holiday we will never forget. If you are thinking of coming to Sapri, you must make a visit to Fratimo Pizzeria, if you have a moustache you will dine like family all night long. Sapri has so many nice people here and they have been so welcoming to us both. and I have also gained another brother.
