Di Luna’s is a charming diner–gift-shop hybrid beloved for hearty, homemade breakfasts and standout items like sweet potato hash, French toast, eggs Benedict, vegan bowls, and inventive huckleberry mimosas. Guests praise the cozy, retro atmosphere, family-friendly appeal and tempting mercantile. However, experiences vary: service and wait times can be inconsistent, with occasional forgotten drinks and pricing noted as high. Overall it's a popular brunch destination worth trying for its food and ambiance, but expect possible delays during busy periods.
My husband and I stopped here and were really impressed. I got the retro vegan bowl and added chicken and it was one of the best bowls I?ve ever eaten REALLY good! My husband got a breakfast plate and it was good as well. The staff was really friendly and the shop out front has some great gifts and nice baby clothes. If you get a chance we highly recommend stopping in!
The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent. It's the perfect spot for a peaceful and leisurely Sunday breakfast.
I 've never been to Di Lunas for breakfast, and haven 't been there for food in 15+ years. Decided to take my friend here for breakfast, for her birthday, as people rave about the food. Went in today showed up around 8:30am. We walked in and waited atthe please wait to be seated sign for 10 minutes unacknowledged. Two waitresses walked up to the register area twice, andthen walked away, never giving us so much as a look. One waitress came back to the register for a third time, and finally askedus if we needed anything. We requested a table for two. She went back to see if any tables were available all were full.Wanting to give this place a chance, we asked for a wait time. We were told 10 15 minutes. We decided to wait, my friend gavethe waitress her name for a table, and we began looking at the mercantile while we waited. A couple walked in about 10 minutesinto our second wait, and were immediately seated. We went back to the sign, and about the time the newly seated couplestarted ordering food, we left. It was 8:55am. It was very disappointing. We ended up at Cafe 95 we were acknowledged withinone minute of our arrival, and were seated within three minutes of being acknowledged (and this place was slammed). Maybe thewaitstaff was having a bad day maybe all of the tables were recently seated with people that came in just before us maybethe couple that came in behind us made reservations ahead of time. Don 't know. We will be hard pressed to give breakfast hereanother chance, due to the cold, unfriendly, uncommunicative service.
Our meal was very good. The eggs Benedict with smoked salmon was tasty. My wife's sourdough toast was a bit burnt, but the rest was good. The huckleberry mimosas were certainly the highlight of our visit. I'd like to say they were small, but they weresized correctly. That said, twice the size wouldn't have offended me.
