Last week, we visited @conroysstoneoak, checking the place out with Dad. We hadn't been there in a while but really enjoy the outdoor area. I had the Rum Punch and my husband had the Conroy's Mule. We started with the full nachos with ground beef as our appetizer. It was a pretty generous portion. We couldn't finish it. Otherwise, we wouldn't have room for the entrées. I’m not sure why anyone would choose to eat here, honestly! I worked at this restaurant during its grand opening four years ago, and it has never really gotten its act together. They consistently failed to pay their staff on time, and my hourly wage was not what I was promised. It seems like the owner is running a bit of a scam. View all feedback.
I absolutely love the patio! They not only allow dogs but also actively encourage them. We began with the shrimp appetizer to share, which was delicious. They offer a variety of great chicken dishes, burgers, and even shepherd's pie—perfect comfort food options. The full bar is a nice touch, and the wait staff is very helpful. They also have nightly specials, so be sure to check them out!
If you want great food and drinks with great service, go to Conroy's in Stone Oak. I have too many favorites to mention them all! If you like chicken fried steak or the perfect Old Fashioned, look no further. Try it once and you'll be a believer!

Not a bad place, more of a sports bar than a restaurant. But a little surprised they add 4% to the bill for a credit card. First time I've run into that here. The only credit card company fees that approach 4% is AMEX and few folks use that. Chiselers.
