Was Gladyce Friesen at Pläj a mag?
Okay. Please let me review this with most people who know I don't spend easily 5 stars. But let me tell you if there's a 6. Star would make these places. NOMA Esque type Scandinavian cuisine. Every record was FANTASTIC! Gravlax and Herring were my favorite. But honestly, we had 5 small plates and a dessert and they were all GREAT! I want to give this place almost a star so that people do not extinguish it. Trust me,... View all feedback.
Amazing restaurant in SF that brings out a nostalgia feeling of being in Sweden.
I'm so ignorantI thought that Scandinavian cuisine would consist mainly of pickled fish and Swedish meatballs.
I'd heard so much about this place years ago, and finally found myself here the other nightWas a little confused coming up to the hotel lobby.

For additional bar entertainment, go on Wednesday to Saturday night to hang up with Jason. came back for another great food experience. What a hidden jewel of a place.
Excellent Scandinavian cuisine in this small boutique hotel restaurant. go through the hotel front and go back to a really dark, no windows at all, cave like restaurant. this is the perfect place for this secret rendezvous, because no one can see it inside. they can all sorts of sweet nothing to their date whisper or share them top secrets with the cia and no one will ever know. but let's talk about eating. menu has three options. a small plate, middle plate and then the main escape. we ordered one of us and shared. started with kohlrabi and beet with water cress salat. then a plucked hering plate with crisp bread, cheese, swirling, plus more. was mostly meatballs and kartoffelmaic. each dish was excellent and really brought Scandinavian flavors with dill and lingonberry. for the desert they had some possibilities. difficult to choose, but tried the chiffon cake with marzipan topping. was served in a glass and it was delicious! service was great. I guess they're asking if we need to show cards and leave a certain time. good thing.
