Great local watering hole with cheap eats and a decent beer selection. Always busy but not so crowded you can't find a seat. Doesn't seem to attract a lot of tourists, which is good. Patio in the back alley for folks who still like to enjoy some nicotine with their beverages. View all feedback.

We were looking for a bar that is not too full, a good choice of beer and served good food. the prices are good and the staff was really friendly! five stars!
We had such a great time in the murphy’s pub and we loved that the bartender, valerie, was from dublin. large beer and Irish whisky selection. squint and you will swear you are in temple bar.
I am so happy Murphy’s is back open , finally back going downtown . Also just in time for baseball season Great to see the familiar faces of Val , Ollie and Desiree !
Very cool place!! We enjoyed 2 visits. Definitely busier Mon-Thursday and slower on Friday night. Service was excellent!
I loved this stop on my way home to New Orleans. Your atmosphere and service was incredible. My only feedback is if you only have one pool table, you should have the table open. Two dollars is ridiculous for a play, especially if you’d like to play table rules with the regulars. Make it free and embrace the dive culture your regulars make for you
