My man and I visited the Weds night wellington, but were not in one because and were excited for this great first bite. everything was wonderful until dessert, the toffee cake was ice-cold and tastefully burned. I was also a little disappointed that they only wore black tees and kamille, which can appear difficult at the end of the meal. our waitress and the staff quickly brought us ice to the house, the super friendly and a great opportunity to finish the evening. we feel that the prices for the pommes were exaggerated, even if they had truffle oil on them. for glass weeping, fries and two wellington dinners together) we have a lot to do.
This was for my man's birthday, which I thought I had put into my open table. they have nothing to show that they knew. I seem to have been there for the birthday of others. So I was surprised when nothing was in order. shall I say it was his birthday when we looked in? that was disappointing, not to mention that our car was dragged while we were fed. it was our fault. we made a mistake to be a scandal.
Excellent neighborhood bar with great dining options. A grown-up oasis away from the more frantic spots along nearby Chestnut Street. Great mixed drinks, but the weekly specials in the dining room are the star attraction. Offers vary through the week butmight feature half-priced bubbles, racks of ribs or the sublime lobster spaghetti. Be sure to ask the price before you orderthe lobster, or maybe don't, enjoy your meal and worry about that later.
Long-time Maybecks fan who was eagerly anticipating their reopening. OG fans, be forewarned, the menu is very different. Unsurprisingly, everything is expertly prepared, delicious, and beautifully presented. The crispy duck with duck fat fried riceis the best duck I've eaten outside of France and deservea an award. The pasta may be a different shape, but the TorchioBolognese is reminicient of the radiatore and will definitely scratch that itch. As always, you can't go wrong with any drinkyou order.
