Was Michael C at Azuca a mag?
I've noticed this place several times as I've strolled through Southtown and was enticed by the decor. I decided to go for dinner a few nights ago with my partner and was absolutely enamored by the entire experience. The ambiance is really one of a kind and captures that Latin flair perfectly. Our waitress was kind, efficient, and helpful with recommending dishes. We started with the appetizer sampler and got the Shr... View all feedback.
What Steven S dislikes about Azuca:
The restraunt had music and was nice inside with beautiful art. We originally wanted to sit outside but got a huge ugly smell of garbage from the trash dumpsters coming from the parking area. The drinks were great, and the food was good after being sent back because the waitress didn't tell the cooks how we had requested it to be prepared. Our server was very rude and continually rolled her eyes and ignored our table... View all feedback.
Ate here w our kids and had a nice meal. Kids had a buffet designed for them which worked out great and. Ore higher end restaurants should heed this call. $15 each but included lots of choices which kids love as well as deserts and a drink. I had the swordfish which was a bit overdone and a bit tasteless. My wife had the filet which was served over a tomatoe based medley of zucchini and squash which really didn't go with it very well. Read reviews and told side of Russell sprouts was roasted but they arrived steamed and again tasteless. All in the best part of the meal was our excellent waiter. Ate at pacific grille the night before and that meal was a lot tastier.
The restaurant would benefit from expanding their selection of white wines. The food was subpar.
Wonderful menu of Latin food in a funky atmosphere that all work together great. I enjoyed my meal and the service was great even with a couple of large parties. Not a large place which makes it feel cozy and friendly.
This restaurant is the perfect place to go for a delicious meal, great ambiance, all for reasonable prices. The Beef Steak Churasco was perfectly cooked as requested, flavorful, and the portions are generous. The cornbread was a delicious side aswell, although the spread served with them would have been betyer if it were made of real butter. Overall, the experience was agood one, and we are planning on visiting again.
