The restaurant received mixed reviews. Some customers complained about the loud music and long wait times, while others enjoyed the atmosphere and delicious food. The service varied from clueless to knowledgeable, but the general vibe was fun and exciting. The menu offered flavorful dishes, with the exception of the Mac N Cheese. Overall, the restaurant was a popular spot for large groups and special occasions, despite some shortcomings in service and noise levels. Visitors praised the live music and extensive menu options, making it a must-visit for those looking for a lively dining experience.
This place is in the heart of Mission in a refurbished (I think) church. In fact half of our seating was a pew, lol! Go for their 90mins all-you-can-eat brunch and drinks. Great food, drinks, perfect for birthdays, large groups or a date (if you don't mind the noise).
Absolutely lovely spot. Small bites are great to share, everything is filling. Ambience is lovely, as if you're sitting outside on a balmy Southern evening. Full bar, good neighborhood...not much more you can ask for! BE HERE.
I love this cute little place , the food was yummy you have to try they’re char grilled fanny oysters top with herbed butter and Romano cheese ...Mmm so good love it, all the staff were very welcoming and me and my friend we both enjoyed our time at Alba Ray’s.
It was Sunday brunch time and Paulo Luis, the bartender, was great! The baked eggs with grits and eggplant was delicious, as was the chicken/sausage jambalaya. Paulo Luis made a fantastic Old Fashioned with Bourbon and the Smirnoff **** Mary was good and spicy. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the live music with drums, bass player and vocalist. Clean, handicapped accessible/gender neutral restrooms in the back of restaurant. Busy place with a small wait line after 12:00 noon. Great Cajun food and atmosphere!
