Off the track on a side and a wonderful surprise! Offered indoor and outdoor dining. Very attentive staff. Fresh, unfrozen, seasonal meals. We were a very large group and were graciously accommodated. Delicious desserts! View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Decimal 81:
Last year we had a great evening at Decimal 81 so this year decided for our anniversary to do the same. It started out really good - had a great table, enjoyable drinks including the french fantasy, delicious appetizers (risotto and ravioli) including the chef's complimentary soup. The entrees and desserts, however, were disappointing (chicken supreme and paella then lemon sabayon and banana and pecan mille feuille).... View all feedback.
Had some oysters to start, which were delicious. Then I had the sweet potato ravioli which was to die for. Figuring nothing can top the home made ravioli and duck was pleasantly surprising when I tried the seafood paella. Ended this 4 course meal with some delicious sticky toffee pudding! I will be back!
Had our Anniversary meal tonight. Short staffed but had great service. Chefs treat of a scallop. Thank you Chef. Appetizer of gnocchi. Pillow soft and melted my taste buds. Main meal of Broiled veal chop and pistachio chicken. Pleasantly surprised with the portion size and the taste was superior. Ended with a lemon tart. Will definitely eat here again. Thank you
The food is reliably superb. A seven course tasting menu and, from the taste of deep fried oyster with caviar and champagne sauce to the Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate (which understates this by TWO additional Chocolate elements), everything was perfection. If there was a concern, it was the portions being a little too BIG for mere tasting and seven in all meant too much food or too little personal restraint. Hardly a complaint.
This is the top restaurant in Saint John. Chef Brad is an expert at combining flavors and the seared Salmon and scallops are incredibly delicious. Make sure to finish off your meal with his famous molten chocolate lava cake, it's truly outstanding!
We had an excellent meal and our server Katelyn was exceptional and made our experience that much more enjoyable
