Feedback
Sipz offers a diverse menu featuring Asian cuisine, including standout dishes like jalapeño fries and chow mein with fried tofu. While the fries receive praise for their fresh flavors, some entrees, like the Kung Pao chicken, miss the mark with a lack of innovation. Many diners report disappointing experiences—ranging from incorrect orders to subpar food quality. Although the service can be prompt, it may fall short when it comes to customer support for order issues. While it's touted as an appealing option for takeout, patrons are encouraged to explore neighboring eateries for potentially better meals.
I didn't dine in at the restaurant, but it's a great choice for those who don't want to cook. I had the chow mein with fried tofu and the spring roll. The peanut sauce was more like a paste in consistency, but other than that, everything was delicious and served quickly.
I would give the restaurant section five stars, but I am rating the entire establishment (restaurant and cafe) with four stars because the cafe is not completely vegan. The restaurant offers delicious Asian cuisine and baked goods. Highly recommended. Review updated on April 2, 2022.
Sipz offers an array of delicious desserts including brownies, cheesecakes, cupcakes, and many more tasty options!
I only dined at this restaurant once during my visit. I ordered the jalapeño fries and Kung Pao chicken. The fries were tasty, with fresh slices of jalapeño. However, I found the Kung Pao chicken to be lacking. It seems like this place mainly focuses on soy meats with various sauces, which is fine but not particularly groundbreaking.
I went to pick up my takeout order at 6pm, when the taco place next door was packed, and found Sipz to be empty. It was clear why, as the food was disappointing – my entree was oily and the lettuce was limp. I ordered a bowl with brown rice and an appetizer, but received white rice and no appetizer. It was my mistake for not checking before leaving the store, but I assumed I would get what I ordered. This was my first time at Sipz, so I didn't realize the rice was served separately. I called twice to request a refund for the missing appetizer, but they didn't answer either time. I'll consider the $10 a lesson learned and won't be returning to Sipz. Save yourself the trouble and just go get a taco instead.
