I ordered the 3 Piece Batter Dipped Fish Meal, and unfortunately, the fish was spoiled. I broke the fish sticks in half and could immediately smell the off odor. Additionally, the hush puppies were extremely gummy on the inside. The only thing that was decent was the loaded baked potato and the steamed broccoli. View all feedback.

The kitchen staff really needs to step up! The food was burnt, and it seems they don't know how to fry fish properly. Such a disappointment!

The order was great. I love the baked fish and shrimp skewer meal. It was a bit dry this time, but I just added a little butter.
I really enjoy the roasted shrimp plate at Captain D's. The staff are very attentive, and the restaurant is well-maintained. The prices are fantastic. I dine at the Ruston, Louisiana location often. Looking forward to my next visit!
