These guys are cheaters. First we had to wait 40 minutes to bring 1 out of 3 portions. Then we left 15 minutes waiting for the bill. And then they charged us $20 more for 5 drinks we never ordered... not drunk. Worst experience in Rust so far. A terrible service we really didn't expect. The waiter showed me a wrong amount only when he was asked for a detailed receipt and placed a 20 EUR banknote in my hand-murmuring... View all feedback.

You may have the best location in the city, but your service is s**t. Shame on you Rusterhof.
Visited rust with my husband in June, stopped at this restaurant for lunch, both had the kalbsrahm gulasch which was a daily special, as others have said quite a long wait for the food but this was OK as the outside seating overlooks a large...public area so if you like people watching its ok. The foo arrived and I was quite disappointed, I know it was calves cream gulasch but the dish was swimming in cream, in my opinion far too much, the gulasch itself also lacked flavour and seasoning, we both ate the meet and half the accompanying Spätzle, but the sauce was poor. All in all a nice place to sit for a drink but for me the food was not up to standard and I would not return.
