Was Lindsey A at Five Star a mag?
Can someone explain why this restaurant has shut down? I really loved dining here; both the service and the food were exceptional. I'm genuinely saddened to see it close. View all feedback.
What Dale Wight dislikes about Five Star:
Well, if you want to spend a lot of money for some awesome flavor this is the place to go, however the portions are about half what you would expect, the one $14 entree we ordered was mostly sauce, with a few thin slices of beef, and a few slices of pepper, I guess they forgot all the other ingredients that we're supposed to be in the entree. Food is delicious, not much around to eat in the first place. They don't cook until you order it. Thai green curry in coconut milk delicious. No waiting in line. Place is big and clean. Decorations are unique. Little gem in Ogden. This place is so great! I was able to sample the curry before ordering and they even let me mix two of them to make my own curry!! I would absolutely recommend this place!!! Best curry in town!!!
Chef Shane personally visits our table each time we dine here! It's such a wonderful, personal touch!
I truly adore 5 Star! It's my favorite Thai restaurant in the area. The only drawback is their strange operating hours; they tend to be closed when we want to order takeout.

Probably will not go back. Picture should have a disclaimer that portions are much larger than they appear in the restaurant.
