I'm visiting Texas for a week and wanted to try some places that aren't in Indiana where I'm from. This place wasn't bad, their burger tastes like a Sonic burger so it was decent. The Cajun tater tots were 10/10. I seriously loved those so much and I'm not a Cajun person. Fries were mid and the gold sauce was basically just mustard, not complaining but kind of expected more. Not worth the price at all but I would eat it again.
I ordered a burger, chicken tenders and fries , the chicken came extremely undercooked. the burger was also burnt.i also decided to get the red velvet shake and i was concerned. I asked one of the employees if the shake was made with flavoring or if it was mixed up, the employee looked concerned and was very nice and explained that she used the red velvet cupcakes that were used in the process. the employee proceeded to get someone from the kitchen and minutes later to find out that the person is the manager .She proceeded to make it a bigger deal and called me a liar and that it was her store and not mine. she was very rude to me and her employee, i honestly feel really bad for the employees that work there. While i was sitting at my table, i heard the manager throw side insults to the employee. i don’t recommend anyone coming here at all. i hope that store gets shut down for being unsanitary and disrespecting their employees.
I'm going to a bit critical for this review. As I come to this location every now and then when they opened in this complex on university, which has been a few years. The food is actually good and I mean that. The burgers are solid, the fries are well seasoned, the Cajun tots are seasoned and cooked well, and the impossible burger they added is also quite good. However, the service is a hit or miss, mostly because they have high turnover it seems. The food, while it's good, it is sooo greasy, and I mean greasy. As soon as it's put into a bag and handed to you through the drive-through or to-go, you can already see the grease seeping through. Multiple times I've had my order wrong, but I can typically eat whatever, so I don't complain. I wish they would make a little more effort into this location, because I do enjoy it. It seems by other reviews, there's not criticism to be taken by the local management, which is a shame. I hope to see this place do a bit better.
