My friend recommended this tapas restaurant to my wife and I so the three of us along with another business colleague came here for one magnificent dining experience. From the first tapas to the last, we were thrilled with everything we ate. What made the meal even better was the presentation of several of the tapas. We started with the Badulaque salad. Now, a salad is a salad. That is unless it is a Badulaque salad. This creation came with lettuce, spinach, cashews, raisins, tomatoes, goat cheese, balsamic, and an amazing creamy garlic dressing. Best salad ever! Next up was a beautifully presented couscous plate. This also had raisins and cashews. We then moved to gambas al ajillo. This is my go to tapa. While not the best ever, it was quite tasty with plenty to share for four people. After that we had crispy shrimp, which were cut in half and served with a salsa brava. Speaking of that, we also had an order of patatas bravas. This was the best ever patatas bravas. They were filled with an explosion of salsa brava. After that we moved to the lamb cutlets, which truth be told, were just slightly overdone. Lamb should alway be served with some redness showing. Lastly, we shared an Iberian pork dish served Thai style. While amazing, it was not spicy as I would have expected for Thai style. All in all, an absolutely perfect meal. The service was great as was the view. I sincerely thank my colleague for recommending this place to us.
Recommend it to me by a local lady. Well the seats next to the windows were reserved I did have a lovely view of the ocean. Excellent people watching great service and delicious food. Of all the places I’ve tried sangria this is my favorite.
1. Good location with the best view. 2. Good salad 3. Very Nice and friendly service 4. Clean 1. We found a difference price at the entrance and at the card menu 2. The price is quite “amazing” 3. A bit penurious of pouring the wine
Right above the board walk on Rota's main beach, is a fun dining a drinking location. The food is excellent, offering Tapas a small taste/appetizer size plates), medias a single portion) or Racion a sharing-sized entree). The seafood is fresh and the offerings are novel and creative. There are a few vegetarian options too. The beer is cold and the drinks are well prepared. A cana or botellin 70z or bottle) is 1,5 or 2 euros! The crowds are fun and its suitable for adults or families. The services is friendly and the view is terrific! Menus are available in English, if needed.
My friends and I had a terrific experience at Badulaque! The staff is multi-lingual, friendly and ready to serve. They have an assortment of salads, tapas as well as fish and meat. Highly recommended for a small group or couples meal. An added bonus is their location right on the beach.
