Nestled on a quiet Scottish road in historic Roswell, this charming restaurant captivates with its well-designed interior. However, the atmosphere can quickly shift to a lively cacophony, particularly during peak hours. Consistency seems to be an issue; while some patrons rave about flavorful dishes and excellent service, others report delayed orders and underwhelming sushi portions. Despite these mixed experiences, the culinary offerings—including standout spicy miso soup and creative cocktails—often redeem service setbacks. For those seeking a vibrant dining experience, reserving an early table may be wise, ensuring a delightful evening amidst the restaurant's bustling energy.
I ate here with a group of 4 and we shared several dishes. It was wonderful!! Top notch food, drinks and service in the charming downtown Roswell area.Food: 5/5
First time here and it was delicious and enjoyable! We come to Roswell all the time and cant believe it was our first time but we will be back.First round of drinks I had the laughing horse which was so delicious and refreshing and my fiancé had a godfather. We came her per a recommendation to get their godfather but it wasn’t on their cocktails list. Second round I did another laughing horse (bc it was so good I wanted another haha) and my fiance had this pineapple drink w three different types of rum and they lit a lime on top. So good!!For apps we did the dumplings and ribs. Both were delicious, we loved the sauce on the ribs. We shared two rolls the Mt Ebi and Toro on Fire. They were so fresh and delicious. The toro on fire wasnt as spicy as the menu indicated but still super tasty. We sat outside and it was really relaxing with a water feature. Our server was Jess and she was friendly, attentive, and informative. Only issue was bugs but its July in ATL so nothing out of the norm. Next time well sit inside because it was really swanky and welcoming!
I really enjoyed our visit. The place is cute and small but they had a lot to offer. The ribs were absolutely amazing. I'd go back just for those. But we also got sushi, which was also great.Food: 5/5
(From Quentin L Mini Foodie This is one of the best sushi I’ve had ever in my life especially the lady in red sushi roll. Great food. Great service. Just great in general. Five stars. Thank you ????????
The sushi was underwhelming. The rolls that were recommended to us lacked any strong flavor. They tasted very bland. The general ambience was good but we were seated in a lower portion that had store bought ingredients sitting on a shelf at the endclose to the kitchen. It definitely messed up the decor and ambience of that particular room. The good: The spicy miso soup wasunique and flavorful. And the cocktail I had was great.
