I have been going to the Denny's restaurant on Buck Road in the Rossford area for nearly 14 years.
Was in here for supper last night Carrie was my server, she was awesome and really friendly, made me feel very welcome after a tough day.
I had a horrible experience at this restaurant. The waitress was terrible, the coffee was cold, and we waited too long to even place an order. My wife and I noticed that the waiters were on their phones instead of taking our order. When we asked about the bill for the coffee, since that was all we had received, the hostess was rude. Another customer confirmed that they had also seen the staff on their phones. I will not be returning to this restaurant and I advise others not to go either.
I’ve been coming to Denny’s on Buck Rd in Rossford for literally as long as I can remember. The service has always been great and the food… for what you’d expect at a diner like Denny’s… is typically pretty good. We went in tonight, there were maybe 2 other tables in the restaurant. It’s 11pm on the dot when we arrive. The server tells us to pick a table and she’ll be right with us. 40 minutes later we’re waiting for this server to come take our drink order, bring us menus, etc. We know there’s an issue everywhere with staffing right now so we’re not too concerned because sometimes things happen. She comes to get our drink order finally, drops off menus, brings back our drinks, and disappears again. She keeps going to the back. Finally about 10 minutes later she comes back and takes our order. I ordered chicken fried chicken with roasted red potatoes and corn with a side of ranch and my sister ordered nachos with extra cheese sauce and sour cream. We waited an additional 40 minutes for that to come out. Her nachos were soggy and the cheese appeared to be brown in color, the pico de gallo was fajita style veggies instead… and mine was cold. Just all of it. Server also only brought ranch for the nachos and doesn’t come back to check on us, we can’t get her attention because she’s so focused on talking to the other table about how inexperienced the grill cook is… So she eats what she can stomach, I eat what I can, by the end of it all, we had been there for 2 hours. We left at 1am. Just don’t go. Save yourself the time, if you need something in that area just go to the McDonald’s next door.
