We were in town to visit family. We don 't speak Italian except for some poorly crafted snippets with butchered pronunciations. Allora. Didn 't matter, we just kept ordering the same thing every day for a week until we got it right. Breakfast was granita and brioche. We tried both bars, but Ventaglio became our goto. If you are a coffee fan, the coffee granita is excellent. Or so says my wife. I on the other hand did not deviate from the pistachio granita. Oh my yum. Ordering is interesting. Pay first (sometimes, usually when it is busy then order. Order coffee (caffè , not espresso. My wife drinks capuccino and I drink espresso. Forget the extra ordering you do in your normal Starbuck or Costa location. Don 't bother with skinny milk or decaf . Enjoy what you get. I like a bit more espresso than the single shot smidge. So I ordered two (due and pour one in the other. You can also ask for caffè lungo which is a bit more water in the espresso. I just ordered two to get my fix. We brought some marzipan treats home for the mum. We enjoyed a few delicious pastries while there as well.
