We arrived at out 7pm reservation time. We were the only customers. The cook, cleaner, and a young assistant were there. They said sure, take a table. After 15 minutes the boy came back and took our order. When I asked for a glass of wine, he came with a bottle and poured about 1 inch in the glass, but we appreciated his trying. After another 20 minutes the waitress arrived and, after lots of bustling behind the counter, she came to take our order. We told her the young assistant already had and, never saying apologies, she left. 15 minutes later the appetizer and my pasta dish came out. They mistakenly did not process My wife's order...and we were still the only customers. When the food arrived....we were very impressed. The seafood was delicious, and while my pasta had grown cold waiting for my wife's dish, it was tasty. Soon the restaurant had 5-6 tables, very busy for the one waitress. We were feeling better about our meal and we asked for dessert....simple servings of tiramisu The waitress said it would come right out. We waited for over twenty minutes while other tables were being served. We cancelled the order and left. Never a sorry for the rocky start to the evening, double charged for the small glass of wine, and surprising billed 2 euro for the bread they were passing at everyone's tables. Excellent chef but terrible experience.....the only bad dining experience in two wonderful weeks in Italy.
We stumbled this jewel for Easter dinner while we visited Rome. First a great thanks and appreciation goes to Andra to make our experience unforgettable. We had tried to order Pinot Grigio and while it was not in stock, she recommended a rose we really enjoyed. Everything my friend and I ate was absolutely delicious and well presented. I would recommend this restaurant.
Great food and friendly staff. We’ve got an offer for fresh handpicked porcini and with home made tagliatelle it was a haven on Earth. Seafood was wonderfully grilled, the sweetest prawns I ever head, accompanied with broccoli. Simple but great.
Because the exterior is under renovation, the entrance is a bit obscure. I met up with friends here today. We ordered four courses, a bottle of sparkling wine, and two desserts. They were delicious and generously portioned. We all loved the tiramisu, so much so that we ordered another. I think I'll be back.
