Menu
A complete menu of Vanilla Fish from Riverside featuring all 2 meals and drinks can be found here on the menu.
Vanilla Fish has garnered attention for its fresh, delicious sushi offerings, particularly the all-you-can-eat option, which presents a variety of appetizing dishes. However, the restaurant faces criticism for its cramped atmosphere, inconsistent service, and rising prices. Many patrons express frustration over long wait times and poor communication regarding seating, particularly during busy hours. The recent menu changes limiting orders to five items per person have further disappointed loyal customers. Despite its culinary delights, diners might find better experiences elsewhere, especially considering the limited availability of seating and parking.

Was Anonym at Vanilla Fish a mag?
The rolls were absolutely delicious! I really appreciated that many of them came with pictures and descriptions. The service was quick, which is always a plus. The restaurant itself felt a bit cramped, but that’s typical for sushi places in my experience. I liked that almost all the rolls were served on sharing plates, which made for a fun dining experience. However, the bathroom was not air-conditioned and quite dus... View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Vanilla Fish:
Small portions. I need new chefs. What you see in the picture is a baked salmon roll – just four pieces that are barely the size of my finger, not even my thumb. The roll is falling apart, and the California roll is tiny. It's quite disappointing. View all feedback.

I liked that almost all the rolls were served on sharing plates, which made for a fun dining experience. However, the bathroom was not air-conditioned and quite dusty, which is the only reason I didn’t give a perfect 5 stars. The cleanliness of the bathroom is often indicative of the overall standards of the restaurant.

The dining experience was enjoyable. The all-you-can-eat option is priced at $36 per person, which is quite reasonable. The service was attentive and satisfactory. Please note that you cannot be seated until your entire party has arrived. Additionally, parking can be quite challenging due to limited availability.
Very much impressed by the quality of sushi here. all they can eat is on the pricier for dinner and washing 38 at this time) but it is worth it! the ayce offers a lot of variety and even a few “unique” options, only with limits, how many of these unique options they can get. I was not disappointed to come here. a word of intention before they come, check the times they are open. they close for a few hours between lunch and dinner. they are very strict and will not close them within 45 minutes. recommend everything in any case!
All you can eat sushi.Fish is fresh and has great taste. Everything I tried was amazing. The cut rolls were sized perfectly, each piece was bite size (not too big or too small). The Nigri cuts were large and portioned very well to the the rice. The cost is higher than most places but worth it. This is our new favorite spot.
