I've been to other Rubio's locations and was looking forward to some fresh tacos, but this particular spot did not meet expectations. The food tasted stale, appearance-wise it was unappealing, and it lacked flavor. Service was slow, and it seemed like the staff weren't enthusiastic about their jobs. Additionally, it was clear that the restaurant was quite dirty, indicating a lack of attention to cleanliness. I recommend heading to Urbane Cafe across the street instead—save yourself the disappointment.
I had a great experience at this restaurant, especially with their amazing fish tacos. If you visit on Taco Tuesday, be sure to try the special tacos! The service was efficient, and I appreciated how organized and clean the sauces were. I would definitely return.
Super friendly service and nice atmosphere. I hate leaving bad reviews but this is a health concern. I ordered my favorite two fish tacos and only managed to finish one.Food poisoning about 1.5-2 hours after I ate it 5 days ago. I still have not recovered. I know it was the taco because I was fasting that day and the last time I had eaten was in the morning (ate the taco around 5pm)(STOP READING HERE IF YOURE NOT COMFORTABLE WITH GRAPHICS)About 1.5-2 hours after eating the taco, I literally projectile vomited it out. Threw up 3 more times that day/night. Had severe stomach pains during the day that I ate it and now the stomach pains are moderate. I now have an extremely sensitive stomach and am still struggling to eat solid foods without having nausea. I have been dealing with diarrhea since I’ve eaten the taco. Hope this helps! Won’t be going back to rubios after this.
