Chipotle Mexican Grill
Description
Chipotle in Riverhead has garnered mixed reviews, highlighting significant inconsistencies in service and food quality. Customers express frustration over unupdated hours, frequent menu item shortages, and disappointing catering experiences. Some have reported overly salty dishes and poor customer service interactions, particularly regarding mask policies that have left many baffled. However, a few patrons commend the cleanliness of the establishment, the friendliness of the staff, and the overall freshness of the food. While it remains a popular choice for many, the restaurant's reliability appears questionable, prompting caution among potential diners considering a visit.

More expensive than I thought, but then saw that guacamole $5.00 each and queso ? cost extra. All in all, pretty good. This was the first time we have ever visited Chipotle. Staff was very friendly and answered all of questions without seeming annoyed. Food was fresh and the correct temp hot or cold . Portions were plentiful too.
Absolute Worst Chipotle, food has been so inconsistent. Not to mention, now if you don’t have a mask, don’t even bother going. You’re made to wait in line and then when it’s your turn to order they kick you out. As you’re being kicked out they tell you, you can order online and come back in (without a mask), to pick up. Must be the most idiotic thing I’ve ever heard in my entire life. I left without incident, but don’t even think about questioning them, or they make a huge scene in front of the entire establishment (which they did you the man with his two daughters in line behind me). Starting to make more and more sense why these places aren’t nearly as busy anymore. Awful food, awful customer service and idiotic policies. I don’t know how anyone with common sense could work there.
We used to come here a lot. The food has been hit or miss recently. The last time we went, everything was too salty to eat. We’ve been disappointed more times than not
I ordered a chicken quesadilla for delivery, and when I received my food, it was extremely dry, served on a tortilla with NO cheese. They mistakenly put the cheese on a "queen quesadilla" instead. After struggling with a terrible automated system to get in touch with someone for a replacement, I finally spoke to a representative about the issue. However, I was left on hold for 20 minutes, and even though I tried to call back, I couldn’t because I was on a time constraint. It’s incredibly frustrating and disappointing that a Mexican food chain could forget such a basic ingredient for a quesadilla—literally just cheese on a tortilla. I spent $13 on a quesadilla that had no cheese. What a letdown!
