I visited this restaurant in May 2019 and placed a takeout order with a friend. I really enjoyed my burger (I added bacon) and the potatoes were fantastic too. However, the highlight of my quick visit was the friendly conversation with the staff and the warm, family atmosphere. I can’t wait to go back again! View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Send-a-chef:
My friend ghetto burger was red in the inside.. I had a grilled Philly chicken and the bun was wet on the bottom and I also asked if onions and peppers came on it and she replied no...when I got it they were on my sandwich....The fish was good...however the yams we're not and the cornbread was cold. Very disappointing View all feedback.

I took my mother for breakfast, the food was great and the service was also good. The brother who cooks eggs and omelets has done a great job. The sister who served our table was wonderful. Also with the owner and his sister. I told them I enjoyed the food and service. Next time I'm in Richmond. I will add this review to my Facebook page: My search for Black Owned Businesses.
This is my kind of place nice nice waiter nice ppl and from Philadelphia that made me feel at home The food was lovely the ppl were great I really enjoyed this place.. I will come back and tell everyone I know that this is a must stop Bye and food place, I loved it all
Based on a family member's suggestion, we decided to visit Send a Boss. Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed and promptly seated. The atmosphere was delightful, enhanced by good music and the enticing aroma of delicious food. I ordered the catfish, served with coleslaw and corn, alongside some homemade cornbread. The waitstaff were friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the overall positive experience. The food was fresh, stylish, and enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant!
