We only had breakfast here, but it was excellent each time! Generous portion sizes paired with outstanding service make this place a great choice for a lovely meal. The pancakes are enormous, so keep that in mind when placing your order! View all feedback.
2019 was our third year here on the way to house of copper, harbor mi. tulas cafe has an excellent atmosphere, is clean, good food quality and great prices. we usually also have a good service. it was busy this year and we had a new waitress. they stay away from the Mac cheese scuba. big fan of the corn beef breakfast sand, on French toast. the omelets are also great!
Came here to eat on a Sunday for the brunch buffet for $9.99. Lots of food to choose from and everything tasted excellent and tasted as fresh as it just came of the grill. Staff was very friendly.
Tula's hosted an event which I attended. It was a presentation by the Wisconsin Family Council. The foods was served buffet style and was outstanding. The broasted chicken was among the very best I have ever tasted. The salad was very good as were the beef tips and sides. I've heard that the fish fry is also excellent.
Tula's is nice clean restaurant, with a friendly staff. As for the food it's about the average food quality for a buffet. The bacon is thicker then most but was over cooked and jerky like. Pancakes was probably the best part of the meal followed up by the biscuits and gravy. My better half really enjoyed her chicken salad sandwich and soup. Also they have nice and clean bathrooms.
My husband took my friend and me out for Christmas dinner, and it was absolutely fantastic! The waitstaff was very attentive and friendly, checking on us regularly without making us feel rushed. The interior was clean and exuded a beautiful rustic charm, perfectly capturing the true Northwoods vibe. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were quite reasonable. I highly recommend giving this place a try!
