**Dining at Davio's: A Mixed Bag of Experiences** Davio's offers an intriguing mix of culinary delights set against a vibrant backdrop. While many patrons savor the expertly prepared seafood and steaks, some have faced challenges, such as miscommunications regarding reservations and inconsistent food quality. The attentive and knowledgeable staff often elevate the dining experience, as evidenced by personalized service and thoughtful touches, like half portions for pasta. Though noise levels can detract from the atmosphere, overall, the restaurant boasts great food, a diverse wine list, and a warm ambiance that leaves many eager to return, despite occasional hiccups and higher prices.
Unfortunately, I can't provide a review since I didn't get to experience dinner at Davio's. The restaurant was closed for a private event, and I received no notification from either the restaurant or OpenTable, even though I had confirmed my reservation just a day earlier. When we arrived, the door was locked. We waited until a very courteous manager informed us that they no longer use OpenTable for reservations. I recommend reaching out to the restaurant directly, as they are no longer accepting reservations through OpenTable.
Fantastic pizza! Our server was both friendly and knowledgeable. It was also a lovely touch to have the chef come out to greet us and inquire about our experience.
Birthday dinner experience was disappointing due to numerous issues. We had missing items, and the pasta was overcooked. This place has potential, but it was incredibly noisy, and the food was just okay. You can find better value at other restaurants.
The food was cold, the service was excellent, booth seats were too tight (good thing we were skinny people)
