'Gold is where you find it. ' We found a couple of pots of seafood gold here at Capt. Kidd 's. Cioppino with crab, fish, clams and mussels in a spicy tomato broth... wow, just too good for words!
Ordered a variety of food for the table to share. calamari, swordfish, fish and chips, crab cakes and oysters. All excellent. If I lived closer I’d stop by weekly to get their market seafood to cook at home too.
My dad has been coming here since he was a kid. I’m on vacation and had to stop for my first time!!! Best seafood I’ve had in years!!!! I highly recommend ordering from the fish market and having them cook what you pick rather than ordering from the menu.
So good. Would definitely stop by here again for lunch. We had the sea bass salad and the lobster roll. They were fresh, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Lots of seating options. Really enjoy the picnic tables and catching some views of the ocean.
This was our first time. There is two parts to the restaurant. One side the meals are posted and ready to cook. We went to the left side where the fresh fish was located. We got a nice piece of Salmon and large wild caught shrimp. You get two sides andthere is a fee to cook the food. It was absolutely tasty. I also got the lobster bisque soup and it was good. Loved the hushpuppies. Plenty of seating indoor and out. Very close to the pier!
