Bill's restaurant charms with its inviting decor and friendly atmosphere, offering a varied menu that includes enticing brunch options. However, customer experiences tell a more complex story. While some diners rave about the delicious pancakes and attentive service from staff like Poppy, others express frustration over inflated prices, particularly for basic items. Numerous guests have faced challenges securing a table, often feeling disregarded as solo patrons. Concerns regarding cleanliness and food quality, coupled with automatic service charges, have left a sour taste for many. Despite its potential, Bill’s seems to have room for improvement in customer service and overall value.
I'm not certain how long Bill's has been established, but there seems to be a growing presence of their restaurants across the UK.
We visited this restaurant with a group. The menu consisted of typical options like burgers, chicken dishes, and steak.
My husband and I enjoyed breakfast at this restaurant in Reading, and we are big fans! Be prepared for a brief wait, but it is definitely worth it.
The food was excellent. I was disappointed that I ordered dessert first and it wasn't served, so I had to reorder it. Additionally, the server just watched us eat, which I found annoying. Despite this, the food was delicious. The atmosphere was fantastic, but the service was subpar.
We chose to dine at this restaurant for Mother's Day lunch with the kids, and it was excellent. The food and atmosphere were fantastic, and the service was spot-on. We even received a complimentary dessert because of the occasion.
