This was the only restaurant open and serving food during our one night in Rangely. We decided to get takeout, and they offered a nice variety of dishes. Our food was ready as promised and was delicious. The service was also very friendly. View all feedback.
What G S dislikes about Jade Lion:
The waitstaff here were very friendly, which was great. The food was decent, but serving it in styrofoam? That's a big downside for me. I really want to avoid eating here again until they switch to more sustainable options for dine-in service. Would it be possible for me to bring my own plates and utensils and wash them at home? Great food and really quick service. We were driving through and needed a quick bite to eat. The service was great and friendly. We left very satisfied and with leftovers for our cooler.
No longer called Jade Lion. Now known as Chinese Wok. Typical Chinese take-out. Expensive for what you get. The wonton soup was full of veggies but the wontons has no meat...just noodles. I would not return.
This place is now called California Wok Chinese Food; We stopped here on the way back from Dinosaur National Monument, and it was a good meal. The sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken were both a bit over-fried which made them dry, but tasty. The fried rice is tasty but has no veggies in it. My pad Thai was excellent: lots of large pieces of chicken and a a flavorful sauce. They sell drinks from a fridge rather than a fountain, have indoor and outdoor seating, and the staff are friendly.
The food is excellent, and the wait time from placing the order to receiving it is minimal.
This might be the best food I've had in Vernal, and the staff is fantastic!
