What a charming little place! We were looking for a unique brunch spot and decided to take a short drive to this location, which turned out to be a wonderful surprise. As for the meals, I ordered mussels this time (which I had never had served in a broth before, so that might explain its blandness) while my partner's curry was quite dry. Overall, both experiences have been disappointing, which is unfortunate because the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. I will, however, give it one more try.

The gardens are beautiful, the cocktails are delightful, and the food is both tasty and generously portioned. The service was prompt and efficient, and the atmosphere feels very inviting. We highly recommend this restaurant. The pictures included showcase the trout and cream cheese rosti with poached eggs, along with a beetroot gin.

The location is truly fantastic, offering beautiful garden views. I recommend reserving a table on the terrace. The roast lamb, meant for family sharing, was outstanding. It would be even better if it came with roast potatoes instead of a green salad (which, by the way, was delicious). The chicken curry was also excellent. The apple crumble was incredible, but quite rich—it's definitely something you can share. The only downside is that they often seem to be short-staffed, which affects the service each time. They really need to hire more staff. Overall, I'd rate the food a 5, the service a 3, and the atmosphere a 5.
