Cafe Gitano - Queensburgh
Cafe Gitano
Description
A popular neighborhood cafe earns praise for hearty wraps, chicken dishes, paella and a lively brunch scene, with vegetarian choices and wheelchair access. Many reviews applaud attentive servers and hands-on management, but experiences vary: some guests report slow or rude service, incorrect orders, reheated or undercooked dishes and reduced portions. The atmosphere is warm and busy—ideal for families, dates or casual hangouts—while value depends on the meal and staffing that day. Expect highs of excellent service and lows of inconsistent quality.

I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant, and our waiter Chris was fantastic. He truly made us want to keep supporting Café Gitano. Service was excellent, and we enjoyed a lovely dinner there.
Paul provided excellent service, and my daughter and I had a lovely mother-daughter date. Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 4.
The food here is incredibly delicious. The service is outstanding as well. I visited during the lunch rush just two days before Christmas, and the staff was impressively efficient and quick. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all as a perfect 5.
