Cafe Buade
Description
A historic restaurant in Quebec City served disappointing food with slow service, including frozen soup and incorrect orders. Rude hostess, subpar vegetarian options, and inconsistent service also tarnished the experience for some diners. However, others praised the extensive menu, great service, and delicious options like Arrabiata and poutine. Friendly staff, tasty food including the French Toast, and attentive service left a positive impression on some customers. Overall, mixed reviews suggest inconsistent quality and service at this restaurant, with a range of experiences impacting diners’ visits.

One of many Italian restaurants located within the French village. Food tasted good, but portion sizes were small considering the prices they are charging. This restaurant is located within walking distance of the Chateau Frontenac. Waitresses were polite and attentive.
Good food and friendly service right in the middle of town next to Notre Dame cathedral.
Great little restaurant that’s been around for 100 years! Food was ok , had a stir fry that’s was fried and not stirred burned all the veggies but I was still ok. They have a kids menu in French and English which I appreciate. All in all it’s one of many restaurants in the dense old Quebec. Waitress was great , fast and smiling and felt authentic.Parking: In old Quebec parking is few and far betweenKid-friendliness: Crayons available for little ones to stay busy
It is just as good as it was 60 years ago when I worked there as cashier. The service was fast and the food was excellent. A great place to eat in Old Quebec
