We ate there last night on the recommendation of friends. We didn't have a reservation but were given an immediate, friendly welcome and given a table outside, which is what we wanted! We had a puppy with us and asked if they had any dog blankets. The waitress immediately came over and brought a dog blanket and a water bowl. The food was delicious, everything was hot and fresh, and we were more than full. The service was very good. One small comment: unfortunately, Ipanema wasn't as we're used to; you should ask your bartender to fix that, he's great.
No, we wanted to have lunch at 1 p.m. Even though there was still an hour until closing time, we were turned away. There 's plenty to eat down at the harbor. You never get a second chance to make a first impression.
