This is a legendary place of kothrud. I bet everyone must have visited this place once or twice but for me it was a routine especially for the coffee and meeting my friends. Its always crowded with youngsters and they have amazing food items in their menu. I enjoy every bit of this place and its one of my favourite since years as it is budgeted and happening place for many.
This place is a feeling that can't be compared. Durga Hotel is not a place if you want ambience, peace. It is the hustle bustle of the place that makes it lively, it is a hotel that binds the MIT College Students, providing vivid menu with marvelous taste. Spending the evening drinking Coffee with your friends at this place is like a small reunion itself, we have lived our college days savoring the dishes that are budget friendly. Never had a week passed without drinking the Cold Coffee here. Everyone is well aware of the Winters in Pune, the Hot Coffee is equally famous here during Winters. Staff is friendly, for all those saying staff is unfriendly firstly develop your manners then criticize, I have been going to this place for last 4 years and never once I have been ill treated. If you treat the servers badly without proper respect don't expect anything back, you pay for food and infrastructure here not anything else, as mostly people prefer self service.To avoid rush hours visit the place in afternoon, evenings are crowded with youngsters. If you're a elderly person who complain about young generation's social habits, this might be not the place for you. As said earlier it is a feeling, I have seen elderly people here too, some enjoy the aura around this place others just take their frustration out on youngsters. If you're visiting this place based upon my review, firstly order Cold Coffee. If you're non-vegeterian order Double/Single Bhurjee Pav. Vegetarians can go for Paper dosa, Onion Uttapa, Misal Pav.
There is a lot of confusion between hotel durga and cafe durga but finally found out that hotel durga is the original one.......so i went there to have their cold coffee and cold chocolate...... there was rush whn i reached.....staff were not that prompt...... I ordered misal pav along with my drinks...... everything tasted really tasty.......misal pav had a perfect balance of every aspect of taste and cold coffee was really worth!!......would love to go their again
Hotel Durga has been my favourite breakfast spot for last 7 years. Misal, Cold coffee and Anda bhurji are the most popular dishes served there.! The service is very good. There are variety of dishes at reasonable price. Coffee Lovers Should Visit Atleast Once
