Fun place to hang out on campus and people watch. Great food. I've been getting the teriyaki burger for over 30 years and it's always good.
Had a great burger and beer. Soaked in the Coug ambiance on a hot day. Met a couple of old football players from 72, visiting for a 50 year reunion!!!
I haven't eaten here, so I can't comment on the food. However, this place embodies the classic dive bar vibe that everyone loves. It's an excellent spot to catch up with friends, reminisce about school days, or make new memories as a student or alum. Visit for a refreshing cold beer, enjoy some socializing, and soak in the atmosphere of a legendary college dive bar.
I've been going to the Coug for over 50 years. I met my husband there on a blind date! Mavericks used to be our favorite spot for dancing as well. It's always a fun place to come back to.
