Brigantine Poway offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere with a great staff and delicious food. Despite a few hiccups with undercooked dishes and slow service, the overall experience is positive. The newly renovated restaurant has fantastic updates and a variety of tasty menu selections, including prime rib, halibut, octopus, and ahi. The bar ambiance may not be ideal for all, but the food quality and reasonable prices make up for it. The service is exceptional, with attentive and professional staff who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience, even for large groups. Overall, Brigantine Poway is recommended for a lovely meal with friends and family.
We were a party of 7 (6 adults and 1 child). The artichoke fritter appetizer along with our cocktails was fantastic! The waiter worked with us on creating a dinner for our son when nothing on the kids menu was what he wanted. Our entrees were delicious and plated beautifully. We ordered cheesecake for our dessert and were very disappointed. It was bland, tough, and tasted like we were eating the display. We notified our waiter and he got the manager right away. The manager listened to our feedback and rectified it with replacements quickly (that were also as delicious as our entrees and appetizer). Overall, it was a great meal and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
Restaurant looks amazing after the remodel! Everything was great. Food came quickly. The halibut dinner is always delicious! I’m glad it is back in season. My brother had the wagyu burger and it went down a treat. The salad with chicken was yummy too. Good wines as well. Staff were friendly and helpful, if not a bit hovering.
The the quality of the food was terrible….even the French fries. Myself and my wife got upset stomach eating miso glazed salmon and the fries came with tacos and burger were soggy. How can you mess up French fries…seriously! Paid $170 for junk. Pls avoid this place, you can get better quality food from McDonalds.
We came with my friend to have a nice and quick dinner before the planned event to a nearly empty restaurant and were waiting for 20(!!! minutes for a server to take our order. All this time we observed how the party of 10 near us is gatheringtogether, how the server is clearly prioritizing their order before ours, picking up their order, sending it to the kitchen, andhow our chances to get some food before we need to go were disappearing. Also the place is outdated and needs to be renovatedyears ago. Such an awful service and awful atmosphere, can’t recommend to anyone
