Banta Management has been a disappointing experience overall. The company appears to prioritize profit over professionalism. I found Dave, Penny, and Keith to be quite unhelpful. Additionally, I have negative memories of George Banta Sr. making inappropriate comments to a black supervisor at the Buffalo Wild Wings location in Kingston, NY. There's also outstanding payment of thousands of dollars related to that job.... View all feedback.
Do NOT do work for this company that runs the buffalo wild wings parking lot in Middletown, NY. THEY DO NOT PAY. We are owed over $10,000 from them. and not ONE phone call has been returned since the beginning of March. BE AWARE!
This is an awful mis-run company that seems to have bought properties just to squeeze as much money out of them as they can until they fall apart or no one comes due to terrible conditions and reviews. I've yet to see a seriously positive review about the facility I worked in that wasnt followed by a list of complaints, not least being the 20 yr old mattresses in some rooms, the fact that nothing had been updated in the 20+yrs it's been in operation. Having worked in hospitality over 10 years I can say I've never seen less care shown for a property or the opinions of the guests paying to stay there. Also the property will be out of compliance with NYS law by next year if they do not build an elevator, which will not happen. All around a very unorganized, slightly pathetic place to work and management company to work for. I would steer clear of staying at any hotels/motels run under the banta management name.
I work for banta he only cares about putting money in his own pocket we are not machines we are people start taking care of the people who work tirelessly for this company 15 rooms by 2pm no it don't work with the scrap we deal with and not having enough linen to start our day

There's also outstanding payment of thousands of dollars related to that job. It's reassuring to see that I'm not alone in my concerns and that others share similar sentiments.
This is a poorly managed company that seems to have acquired properties solely to extract as much money as possible from them until they deteriorate, or until guests stop coming due to poor conditions and negative reviews. I have yet to see a genuinely positive review about the facility where I worked that didn't include a list of complaints. Notably, some rooms still have 20-year-old mattresses, and nothing has been updated in the over 20 years the facility has been in operation. With over 10 years in hospitality, I can confidently say I've never encountered a place that shows less care for its property or the feedback from paying guests. Additionally, the property will be in violation of New York State law by next year if an elevator is not installed, which seems highly unlikely to occur. Overall, it's a very disorganized and disappointing place to work, as well as a management company to be associated with. I would strongly advise against staying at any hotels or motels operated under the Banta management name.
