Place is very popular, and the food is very good. Service is excellent, with food offered in a very nice presentation style. Yet while the decor is part French, its not classical. food is not really French, or regional French in terms of the menu. The crêpes are over filled for French cuisine for example. Absolutely amazing! We arrived at Isabel at 9:50 a.m. without a reservation, and they accommodated us right away at the lovely bar. The service was excellent, and the staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring we were well taken care of the whole time. For starters, we had scallops and a cheese soufflé, both of which were fantastic! For the main course, we enjoyed filet steak served with plenty of sides. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the sides were incredibly delicious, with the jus enhancing everything perfectly! The host, chef, bar staff, and waiting staff were all very friendly, professional, and welcoming. It's definitely worth booking a table for any occasion, as the food, atmosphere, and overall experience are highly recommended. This is our favorite restaurant, and we can't wait to return. Thank you so much for making our evening perfect! xxx
I had a delightful experience at Isabel's! The personal service was outstanding without being intrusive, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Absolutely fantastic! I had a three-course meal from the à la carte menu, which offered a wide selection, including vegetarian and gluten-free options. Having visited Isabel's in Ashley Cross before, I had high expectations, and Isabel's Brasserie did not disappoint! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, the food was divine and generously portioned, and the drinks were delicious—especially the New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, which is incredible. The atmosphere was great too. I'm so pleased it met all my hopes, and I can't wait to return in the new year. Thank you, Isabel's!
Almost as good as with ashley cross. can not mistake the food, but I would like to see more vegan and vegetarian starter choices. would also like to see the Monk fish in brandy sauce back not quite sure whether I have described it correctly) on the menu, but actually I really loved the whole experience and wished the owners all the best. what a great penn hill. fantastic, long it will continue! and thanks.
Four of us had a really lovely meal here. Busy Friday evening but still efficiently run and there was a nice ambience. Sarah very attentive and accommodating and waiting staff all very pleasant and wanting to make the experience enjoyable. Service excellent. Lovely canapés. Rib eye steak was exceptional.All the food was very well presented and very tasty. Highly recommended. Thank you.
