I loved this restaurant! it is located in the so-called lower zone, in the shopping center of the city, in a pedestrian street the local has two heights. On the ground floor there is a small reception with bar-lounge area. the dining room is on the upper floor, and is quite large, has a slightly more protected area as a hallway with about 4 tables and then the wider area with many more tables. the decoration is super modern, strong colors and colored mosaics on the walls in combination with clay wood furniture, design lamps. the agreement is very detailed and polite, with properly uniformed waiters that nothing else comes orted to pick up your coat, etc. well, a rather pyjillo site, of those who have until the rent of water, which therefore fashion has put the food is innovative, but the use of traditional ingredients, and the presentation of the dishes is large and in much detail. have variety of incomings, salads, carpaccios, seafood, meats and fish. We were two people and we chose to share a lobster casserole with clams to the sailor, who was very good, and second ox and duck wizard. all exquisite, including my favorite dessert: chocolate coulante with ice cream has an executive menu at 15€ that is changing every week (e.g. salad and roasted chicken,) but although that is a cheap price for this site, I think it is not worth it. so if you are looking for a menu of the day, I think this is not the place, since there are other places in ponferrada where they put a much better menu and above it is recommended by the guide michelin, but for the type of food, quality, environment and service did not seem expensive: 40€ per person. So I feel like closing on Sunday nights. There's a smoking area.
Although the place remains open, it has changed owners (now it's just like the noval house, I believe) and kitchen stylium. for me the truth, never drops. kitchen with pretensions but very easy and low quality with an excessive price so it was offered. I don't know now.
I don't have much data, it's a central restaurant and years ago of good quality.
The good: very cool 1950s lobby, incredibly polite and helpful staff, great location a couple of blocks from the beach.
We stayed at QT for our honeymoon right around the time they had just finished all their renovations.
