La Piazza Plainview offers a diverse menu of Italian favorites, from pizzas to hearty entrees. While some diners rave about the fantastic pizzas reminiscent of late 90s Philadelphia establishments, others express disappointment over inconsistent quality, citing frequent overcooking and unwelcoming service. The veal parmesan, though ample in portion, has been labeled average at best. While many appreciate the generous servings and good value, especially for dine-in experiences, long wait times and occasional cleanliness issues lead to customer frustration. Despite mixed reviews, loyal patrons continue to return for the comforting flavors and daily specials.
We can no longer patronize this place. They have no respect for their clientele as they consistently tell us 40-45 minutes for pick up food and without fail it takes at least 90 minutes. This has happened no less then 10 times. The food is usually goodso we kept going back but after ruining two birthday celebrations we can no longer patronize this place no matter how much we?liked? their food. Shame on them.
I came in today and had a great experience. The regular slices were delicious. I went with my wife and 2 year old and everyone on the staff said bye to him as we were leaving. On top of the great pizza it was topped off by that nice gesture. Reallyterrific staff. 5 stars.
We've been frequent guests here for years, and this restaurant consistently outperforms many others we try. It feels like you've successfully navigated the challenges of the pandemic better than most places. We prefer dining in to avoid the hectic atmosphere of counter service and takeout. Although inflation has increased menu prices, this trend affects all restaurants. Despite that, we absolutely love the food here, the service is excellent, and we always have a wonderful time. It's a good idea to arrive early during busy hours for faster seating, as it tends to get quite crowded.
We often order from La Piazza via Uber and also dine in regularly. Tonight, during a heavy rainstorm, the Uber driver completely messed up our order, bringing dishes we didn’t request and missing food I needed for my son. It could have been a stressful nightmare, but Toni and his team quickly corrected the mistake and fixed our order right away. Excellent customer service—thank you!
I had a fantastic time at La Piazza with my aunt. The waitress Brianna (if I’m spelling her name correctly) is one of the most wonderful people I’ve ever met. She is stunning and incredibly professional, and she definitely deserves much more recognition. I’ve been to La Piazza several times, and she’s by far the best waitress there. I highly recommend requesting her if you visit. Thanks for the amazing food! Hope you liked the tip :)
