We fell asleep in the hotel after coming back from Viareggio beach (20 mins from Pisa), so went out late to get something to eat. Pizzateca was the perfect solution. Located in the Piazza Garibaldi next to La Bottega del Gelato the Ir Poncino bar this place offers great home cooked pizza in a sports bar type atmosphere, there are no heirs and graces her. Because one of our favourite restaurants were closed we naively believed this place could be a good option, but alas, how stupid can you be. We ordered Lasagne, it came quickly but the plate was almost empty. So no wonder it came quickly! The red wine served in a decanter was cold. It looks like a simple no frills place for a quick snack but make no mistake. They prepare absolutely perfect pizza and offer very kind service. Very recommended!!

Extremely lecker eating, but satly a little bit tu much in the Sun, so it was a bit tu hott
Deliozoso e perfetto. cheap, quality food with good portions, very nice waiter who adapts to tourists, very good drinks and food and with a very nice view on the terrace
Great place to hang out. Nice square and good view, friendly service, and the bruschetta was fresh and tasty!
