**A Taste of Freshness: Navigating the ups and downs of a local gem** At this family-run restaurant in Pickering Town Centre, the menu boasts refreshing beverages like flavorful smoothies and slushies, often praised for their quality and service by loyal customers. Many rave about unique offerings such as the lychee green tea slush with strawberry boba, alongside favorites like the Energize Green smoothie. However, not all experiences shine bright; inconsistencies in product quality, such as warm slushies and rapidly melting frozen yogurt, have left some patrons disappointed. Additionally, issues with operating hours create inconvenience. If you're seeking a refreshing drink, check the opening times and expectations may vary.
Drove from Ajax to get a freshly squeezed on a non holiday-day, got to the location an hour before the said close time but to our disappointment, it was closed. If you?re not going to follow the hours on your website, don?t post the hours.
We drove all the way to Ajax to try out their freshly pressed juice on a weekday, arriving an hour before the stated opening time. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to find that the place was closed. If the restaurant cannot follow the hours listed on their website, they should not advertise them.
We ordered the special two small mango slushes for $7.99 along with a frozen yogurt from Freshly Squeezed. Unfortunately, the slushes were lukewarm, and the mango flavor was very weak, making me question the quality of the fruit they use. The frozen yogurt melted completely within about five minutes, despite being in an air-conditioned mall, which was puzzling. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. Additionally, I never received a receipt, so the drinks should have been free, but I didn’t bother returning to complain. I won’t be ordering from Freshly Squeezed again. Save your money and check out the real fruit options downstairs instead of their menu.
