What User dislikes about Kfc:
Today in Pickens, I was on the hunt for a lunch spot for work. I can confidently say that this place will not make the cut. The customer service was dreadful, and the chicken seemed at least two days old—it looked and tasted off. The staff member carelessly tossed my change and food at me. It was great,now we need get one in Calabash NC.It would work here very well there is not one in this area ??, someone bring us a long John's slivers to Calabash NC!!!!!! Our town is growing fast send one soon!!!!!!!??
The food was generally good but was not as hot as usual. Also there was a general lack of the crunchy bits that have historically been a bonus to any LJS combo.The low score is for the service. The staff was friendly but the stars were lost due to the practice of trying to play games with the customer service timer. For those not in the know, many fast food lines time their customers in line from the point you order until your food is delivered. On this particular visit, we were the only people in line, no one in front at any stage, nor behind. The ordering went as expected, and we moved to the window. Payment was delivered and we received our drinks. We were then instructed to pull forward and wait at the crosswalk, still no one behind us tryinpay nor was there anyone ordering. This stops the timer and makes it appear that they were able to take the order, payment, and deliver the food in a minute or so. Great for store metrics- but it kills the entire purpose of the system which is intended to motivate speed. So, there we waited 5-10 min to get our food, nothing fancy, just a couple combo meals. When it was delivered, the young man was also very friendly.LJS is not alone in this, unfortunately, it's becoming increasingly popular at fast food restaurants to manipulate the timing metrics.
There was only one employee working and she gave me original chicken, when I asked for extra crispy, and two sauces I didn't want, and I didn't get two sauces that I did want.
Went on a Sunday. Fryers didn't work for the long john side which is why I drove to pickens and then they were out of most of the stuff I would consider eating on the chicken side. But the guy working was super friendly and great.
