We're not going back to this restaurant and that's why. A problem was right away. There were no places to reserve although tables were available. And so when we were able to book a table and we came for dinner, we were offered a table near the entrance (with an empty hall! . We did not like the table and wanted to another table. The restaurant was almost empty, 4 families ate with us. It is worth noting that the restaurant is bright and cozy, the atmosphere in it is pleasant, nice serving, we liked the service, everything was fast, attentive and courteous. But we didn't like the food. The dishes we ordered were highlighted on the menu as a recommendation of the cook. But one cannot say that they are distinguished by special taste qualities. Yes, nice presentation, unusual ingredients, but not delicious. Unfortunately. The total bill for dinner was about 8500 Baht. In addition to paying for food, the bill also includes tax and a 10% service fee. We have already experienced this clearly. All above, we would not recommend this restaurant. It won't save the money you see on the bill.

We celebrated my birthday last night! The service was impeccable and whatever we ordered went a treat, pig spring rolls, crab donut and pad Thai, coconut gelato . As a surprise, they brought a cake to their birthday, which was a beautiful gesture and surprise:
From the moment we came to the Jaras dining room, we were treated like Thai kings. The restaurant Ambiente is light, airy and soothing (also in the evening). We chose the Tasting menu and I knew we were a treat. We started the experience with a meeting and greeting with the boss. Loved the open plan and looked into the kitchen. You can interact with the chefs directly via the pass. The restaurant ethos is a sustainable farm to tables and see this in the many homemade pimples used Jars from the kitchen and the information Rick our server for the evening delivered us during the dining room experience, where ingredients on the island and the farm were very appreciated. Drinks do not have to be mentioned because they were great and I mean, you expect them. But the food was WOW to say spectacular. Every court that came out of the pass was well thought out. A tour of many local proteins and ingredients from Phuket. A festival of typical Thai flavors and magnificent surprises. Absolutely the freshest ingredients and reuse elements over several dishes that created a cohesion between 9 equally unique dishes. Congratulations to the team for a wonderful menu. Thanks for the Rockstar treatment. We were even pampered with a free chocolate cake because we celebrated a 15-year anniversary. At the end of our meal, the boss even paid us a visit to ask for feedback that I looked very respectful, and of course we only have praise. Then the team even shared a few thanks bags to take home, with full size glasses of their award-winning local rice and sea salt. Amazing can not wait to use them for some of my creations at home! I would highly recommend the Jaras Tasting Experience at your next visit to Phuket.
A lovely Thai restaurant at Intercontinental Phuket. I had the som tum which came with cute little sea grapes, sea bass curry, prawn phad thai (on the sweet side), and chicken skewers. Food was tasty and very well presented though rather light on the palate and did not come out hot (perhaps because of the decoration involved). The mango sticky rice with coconut ice cream was delicious. All in all it was a lovely meal, just wish that the flavours were stronger.
