Taberna has garnered mixed reactions, reflecting a restaurant striving to balance ambiance with service and food quality. Many patrons were drawn in by the vibrant atmosphere and appealing décor, enhanced by live music. However, consistent reports of noise levels hampering conversation and delayed service marred the experience. Menu highlights include the exceptional birria tacos and duck confit enchiladas, while some appetizers fell flat, such as the underwhelming chicken wings. Issues with drink quality, portion sizes, and availability of tables also emerged. While some guests left impressed by the friendly staff, others felt disheartened and would not recommend a return visit.
The hummus is delicious, but I would recommend avoiding the chicken wings as they are not good. The wings are small and served with mediocre sauces. The venue itself is pleasant, but the prices are a bit high considering the food quality and small portion sizes. Just a heads up, parking is limited.
We held a company party in the private room at The Spot last week. The experience was exceptional. The staff gave us impeccable service, making sure all of our guests felt special. The food was delicious and fun. And the venue was just the right combination of festive and relaxing. Just what we needed to celebrate!
This restaurant is a total rip-off. The menu has fine print that is too small to read, so we weren't aware of the extra charge for hash browns and toast with the Arcadia Breakfast. In the end, we paid $18 for a mediocre meal of 2 eggs, bacon, one slice of toast, and potatoes.
The menu listed on OpenTable is not current and is significantly worse once you are at the restaurant.
The music was playing too loudly, making it difficult to have a conversation. It took 35 minutes for our food to arrive, even though there were 6 people in our group. I realize they may be understaffed, like many restaurants are. Other than that, everything else was excellent.
