The restaurant in question used to be known for its good food and great beer, with some of the best wings in the valley. However, due to COVID, the restaurant has closed down and is now affiliated with Los Sombreros. The hours of operation have changed, so it's best to call ahead. Some recent reviews mention issues with the service and food quality, as well as inconsistency in the overall dining experience. On the positive side, many customers have enjoyed the casual atmosphere, cool brews, and great variety of beer options. There are mixed opinions on the food quality and service, with some reviewers expressing disappointment. One reviewer in particular praised the White Russian Imperial Stout as the best Arizona beer. Good Brews unique nachos and good service. Only negative was even though we ordered appetizers clearly, the meals followed almost immediately after delivery of the appetizers. Otherwise liked the beer and the atmosphere.
The food nor beer was worth the money my wife and I spent on dinner. A man at the bar was dropping the f bomb and telling sex jokes with the bartender. Obviously under staffed; one waiter and one bartender. We got forgotten several times. There was a very soggy jalapeño on my Reuben and there was no chicken in the strips. The girl was nice but forgetful and we probably won’t be back.
Had a good dinner and got to sample several of their beers it was a good experience.
Very friendly and hospitable bartender. They had multiple beers that were excellent and high gravity ABV. The stouts, porter, and triple IPA were the highlights. The inside ambiance is cozy. There is free shuffleboard. They have free parking in adedicated parking lot. There is a Mexican restaurant next door that will deliver.
Good beer and used to have pretty good food. Some of the best wings in the valley. However since COVID they closed down their restaurant and are now affiliated with Los Sombreros restaurant. Hours of operation are different, so it's best to call either place to see if the tasting room is open.
