I've been looking forward to visiting this winery for years, and it definitely lived up to my expectations! The tasting room is beautifully maintained, and our host, Dia, was fantastic. All of the Duckhorn properties deserve an A+ for how well they cater to their members during the tasting experience. One downside is that the only discount on purchases requires buying a full case. While the Goldeneye selections are exceptional, they come with a premium price. Their single vineyard wines are priced at least 20% higher than other Anderson Valley wines of similar quality. Despite this, I'm still giving it 5 stars. Be sure to visit and enjoy!
The grounds are stunning. While the Duckhorn experience has a more personalized touch, as fans of Goldeneye, we truly enjoyed our wine tasting experience.
Very enjoyable visit and tasting at Goldeneye. Doug was a most gracious host and provided great information/education on the winery.
Spectacular experience. Ask for Ernest- so knowledgeable and personable. Beautiful setting, even better wines. Just go.
